Bee U NYC Board of Directors

Overview:

Bee U NYC (Bee U) is seeking passionate, experienced, and connected change makers to serve on the inaugural Bee U NYC Board of Directors. As a Board member, you will provide guidance, support, and strategic direction to Bee U, ensuring the organization achieves its mission and objectives. Bee U is committed to improving the community through various education and environmentally based programs and initiatives. Serving on the board is a rewarding and unique opportunity to contribute to youth and community development in New York City. Based on the North Shore of Staten Island, Bee U provides an exceptional chance to contribute to the education and environmental communities in NYC.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the Bee U NYC’s mission and dedication to making a positive impact on the environment and in the lives of youth and community members.

  • Experience serving on a board of directors; leadership position (preferred)

  • Track record of leading successful fundraising campaigns in the nonprofit sector

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to commit time and resources to all board chair responsibilities

  • Experience working in the New York City nonprofit sector
