Urban Beekeeping Fellowship

Urban Beekeeping Fellowship

Bee U’s Urban Beekeeping Fellowship (UBF) is a paid program for youth aged 16-24 to gain hands-on training in beekeeping, leadership, and environmental advocacy.

Urban Beekeeping Fellows learn basic skills of beekeeping, dive deep into contemporary environmental issues in their neighborhoods, and learn about career pathways to green jobs.

Bee U NYC is dedicated to diversify the green jobs industry. While we intentionally select a diverse set of participants, applicants who are underrepresented in the green jobs industry (i.e. women, LGBTQIA+, black and brown youth) will be prioritized.
