$30 for Hive Tools
Hive tools are used in many of our Bee University NYC programs, including the Urban Beekeeping Fellowship (UBF). Our UBF Fellows utilize various hive tools such as a j hook, hive frame grips, gloves, and more. A $30 donation will ensure our program participants are equipt with the tools to learn.
$120 for Honey Extractor
Have you ever tried local Staten Island honey produced by Bee University NYC hives in Maker Park? No? Well check out our next Hive Workshop! For us to share our decadent honey with the world, we utilize a honey extractor. Our Urban Beekeeping Fellowship Fellows also utilize the honey extractor during their Graduation Ceremony.
$300 for Trip Experiences for our Urban Beekeeping Fellows
Not only do you get to conduct hive checks as an UBF Fellow, but you also get to go on cool field trips! We want our Fellows to explore various aspects on environmentalism - from the Museum of Natural History, to cooking classes using honey-based products - our fellows learn in experiential ways.
